Once completing my Master's in Mathematics I wrote a thesis about fractals (by definition, a fractal is a set for which the Hausdorff dimension strictly exceeds the topological dimension).
However, fractals are a very intuitive concept, comprehensible for wide variety of people without a strict definition.
